We’ve built something a little different here. From the beginning, the Rock & Gem Expo was designed by vendors, for vendors — our founders spent years renting booths before creating an event series they actually wanted to be part of. That means every decision, from how booths are assigned to how fees are structured, is made with the vendor experience in mind.
Our vendor community reflects that. Many of our vendors choose to participate in every event we run — travelling across Ontario alongside us because the community, the customers, and the experience are worth the trip. And those customers? They travel too. We regularly see attendees who drive well beyond their home city to attend a Rock & Gem Expo, which means your booth reaches far beyond the local audience alone.
What You Can Expect
Equal Treatment, Every Time
Unless specifically requested or customized to accommodate a venue space, all booth spaces are the same (10′ x 10′). Vendor spaces are assigned at setup — not pre-selected. This approach ensures no favouritism and no premium positioning for established names. Whether this is your first event or your fifteenth, you start on equal footing with every other vendor in the room.
Transparent Fees
Booth fees are structured to cover only what’s needed: the venue rental, an estimated contribution toward hydro usage, and a small contribution toward staff wages & advertising spend. The Rock & Gem Expo does not profit from vendor fees. All event advertising and staff wages are additionally funded by the expo owners because we believe a well-attended event is the best thing we can offer every vendor in the room.
A Full Advertising Package
Your booth fee isn’t just a weekend rental — it funds a dedicated advertising push for every vendor and each event. Every Rock & Gem Expo event is promoted through targeted online ad campaigns across Meta platforms, a feature block on our website, and social media posts that spotlight you and your fellow vendors. But it goes further than that: each event is also supported through radio advertising and local print ads in the host city. Most vendors are surprised to hear this — and it’s exactly the kind of reach that makes a difference.
On-Site Staff Support
Throughout each event, Rock & Gem Expo staff are present and available. Need a hand at your booth? Someone will be there. Our on-site team handles ticketing, security, and snack and drink sales — so the event runs smoothly and you can focus on what you’re there to do.
